Hidden Life Curriculum

Forming minds, hearts and hands in the spirit of Nazareth.

The Hidden Life Approach

Hidden Life brings together the strengths of Classical and Montessori education within a modern, practical framework.

We combine the knowledge-rich progression and intellectual rigour of classical education with the independence, hands-on learning, movement and respect for the developing child found in Montessori education.

Learning is not confined to a desk or divided neatly into isolated subjects. Children learn through reading, discussion, observation, exploration, practical work, creativity, movement and real-life experiences. Learning is life and life is learning.

Our approach seeks to develop both competence and character giving children the academic foundations they need for future study while also teaching them how to think, work, create, communicate, care for others and take responsibility for themselves and their surroundings.

Mission

To provide families with a knowledge-rich, holistic Catholic home education curriculum that forms children in the spirit of Nazareth - growing in wisdom, stature, and favour.

Vision

We envision a generation of Catholic children who are intellectually vigorous, practically competent, and spiritually grounded, capable of transforming their surroundings through love.

Ethos

Rooted in the domestic church, our ethos is one of high intellectual standards paired with humble manual work, respecting the developing child while pointing always toward the Truth.

"And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man".
- Luke 2:52
